PERFORMANCE

Staging a human-machine dialogue in the form of a live chat between Hazel Mallon and a Brother KH-830 knitting machine. The machine was speaking its own language (by leaving marks with its needles), different to ours, that would ask for empathy and imagination to start a conversation. An attempt not to meet the alien machine with our human standards and realities, but to gain skills in understanding both its "otherness" as well as  possible analogies to ourselves, the maker of its kind.
